Minister of Public Enterprises Visits Maryland Park and Ghurnata Community Space
Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Enterprises, continued his inspection tour of various assets and hospitality, tourism, and service projects owned by subsidiary companies. He visited Maryland Park and the historic Granada Building, both under Misr Al Gadida, part of the Holding Company for Construction and Development. During the visit, Shimi reviewed ongoing work at Maryland Park, including newly developed areas, the entertainment zone, and future project sites covering both service and recreational facilities. He emphasized improving the quality of services for citizens, offering recreational programs, maintaining greenery, and coordinating with the Ministry of Culture to host cultural activities at the Granada Building. The minister Shimi highlighted that maximizing the value of assets through optimal utilization and management is a key part of the company’s strategy. He also stressed the importance of expanding partnerships with the private sector to benefit from their expertise in managing and operating such projects.
